After the download is complete, it is extremely important that you follow all the installation instructions including the tutorials to quickly obtain the maximum benefit from Password Magic. The installation requires that all browser windows be closed, so we suggest you print these instructions. Print-friendly web page.

1. The File Download dialog box appears. 
   Click on the Save button to start the download. 
   
   
   
   
2. The Save As dialog box appears. Select a folder to receive the download file.  Click the Save button to download the installation file (sdipwm.exe) into the folder you selected.
   
   
   
   
3. When the download finishes, the Download Complete dialog box appears. 
   Click the Open button to start the Password Magic installation process.
   
   
   

1. Execute the Password Magic installation file (sdipwm.exe). 
   
   
2. The Welcome dialog box appears. 
   Click the Next button to continue.
   
   
   
   
3. The License Agreement dialog box appears. 
   Read the License Agreement then click the "I accept the terms of the license agreement" radio button. 
   Click the Next button to continue.
   
   
   
   
4. The Destination Folder dialog box appears.
   Accept the default installation folder (C:\Program Files\SDI\Password Magic) or click the Change... button to select a different folder. 
   Click the Next button to continue the installation.
   
   
   
   
5. The Setup Wizard Complete dialog box appears. We recommend you check "Launch the program". This will start the Password Magic Editor and open the Password Magic Help Window to the "Getting Started" topic.
   Click the Finish button to complete the installation.
   
   
   
   
6. The Password Magic editor starts and displays the Please Create Identity dialog box. You may have to move or minimize the Password Magic Help Window in order to see the Please Create Identity dialog box.  Click the OK button to continue.
   
   
   
   
7. The New Identity dialog appears. Type your name into the edit box and click the OK button. 
   
   
   
   
8. The Choose Password Magic Password dialog appears.  Read Choosing the Password Magic Master Password before creating your master password. Enter your Password Magic master password and click the OK button. Note: The master password can be changed if you decide on a different password at a later date. Do not forget your master password, it cannot be recovered if you forget it. 

   
   
   

9. The Password Magic Editor opens to your new Identity.  Select each of the Identity tabs (Name, Home, Business, Personal, Credit Cards, Bank Accounts) and fill in the information. You do not need to fill in everything. You can edit the Identity and add or remove information at any time. The information in the Identity is used to fill out web order and registration forms. See the Form Fill page for more information. After you have filled out the Identity tabs, click the Apply button. 
    
   
   
   
10. Close all instances of Internet Explorer and Windows Explorer. 
    
    
11. Start Internet Explorer. When Password Magic is properly installed you will see the following:
    
    The Save Form (life preserver icon) and Fill Form (faucet icon) buttons added to the Internet Explorer toolbar.
    
    
    
    The following commands are added to the Internet Explorer Tools menu.
